Straight into your calendar.
A deadline in a list you have to remember to open is only half a reminder. Switch this on and it lands where you already look every day.
A real invitation, not a note
Each deadline arrives by email as a proper calendar invitation, with accept and decline buttons — the same thing you get when a colleague invites you to a meeting. Your calendar app handles it the way it handles everything else.
Corrections replace, they do not pile up
Change a date later and the existing entry in your calendar is updated instead of a second one appearing next to it. Delete the deadline in DocMind and the entry is withdrawn.
Your calendar does the reminding
The reminder is part of the entry, so it comes from your own calendar. Nothing depends on DocMind running at that moment or on an email arriving on time.
Off unless you want it
The switch sits in your settings and starts off. Only deadlines dated in the future are ever sent, all-day by default and with a time only when the document actually named one — and checking older documents in bulk never sends a flood of invitations.
