Archiving is not just packing. It is also knowing, a year from now, what is inside that ZIP and when it was made. FolderBag does both in one run.
By the stack, not one at a time
Pick a source folder and FolderBag lists its subfolders, each with a checkbox and its own progress bar. Select all, clear the selection, or pick individual ones. On start it packs up to four folders at the same time, and every row shows you where it stands.
Every archive comes with proof
Alongside each ZIP, FolderBag writes a contents list of every folder and file that went in, plus a log of the run. All three carry the same name pattern — timestamp, machine name, folder name — so a year later there is no guessing which log belongs to which archive.
You decide what happens afterwards
If a ZIP of that name already exists, FolderBag either overwrites it or skips it and notes the skip in the report — your choice. It can delete the source folder once packing succeeded, and it asks before it does. Empty folders still produce a ZIP, with the directory structure preserved.
Remembers how you work
Source folder, destination folder and window position survive a restart. The interface follows your Windows language and falls back to English if there is no match.
